Come help us by sorting materials, stuffing envelopes, and attaching address labels for our Spring Drawing mailings.

Macy's Shop for a Cause
Purchase a $5.00 shopping pass to shop at any Macy's store on a specific date in March.  The pass will entitle you to a 20% discount on merchandise (with a few exclusions) and also $10.00 off a single purchase of $20.00 or more.  You will also be entered in a contest for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree. All of the proceeds from the shopping pass sales come directly to HPPL.

World Cat Congress Cat Show
Location: 
George R Brown Convention
HPPL will receive funds for spritzing cat cages between judging along with agility ring. We will also have a booth with information and an adoption booth.

Houston International Festival
Location:
 Downtown Houston
Staff HPPL information booth at event and hand out literature, answer questions, and speak to the public about HPPL, stray and abandoned pet rescue, and spay/neuter advocacy to address the pet overpopulation problem.

HPPL  May Party - Hollywood Style Featuring Feline and Canines in Film
Location: 
Houston City Club, 9 Greenway Plaza
Not only a Dinner and Auction but exciting special guest speakers and activities. Come Dressed to Impress! Plan event, solicit silent and live auction items from local businesses, design and setup displays at party, staff information table, and tear down at close of event.
 

Cantoni Furniture – Bed & Biscuit Month Long Event
Kickoff party first week in June with adoptions, vendors, activities and speakers. Every Saturday in the month of June, there will be an activity along with adoptions. Myra Logan, pet communicator, a photographer, agility. Help needed every weekend at the event.  The last week in June, there will be a gala. Details to come

Bow-Wow Luau at Hollywood Frame Gallery

Join HPPL and Hollywood Frame Gallery for a Bow -Wow Luau! Put on your Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts and join us at our Tiki bar to support HPPL in our mission to rehabilitate, provide foster care, and spay/neuter abandoned dogs and cats to place them in permanent, loving homes. You also have a chance to buy tickets for the prize drawing that we will hold this day for a custom-framed watercolor painting , donated by artist Jim Tweedy.

Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows
Location:  Reliant Center (AstroHall and AstroArena)
Staff HPPL information booth at event and hand out literature, answer questions, and speak to the public about HPPL, stray and abandoned pet rescue, and spay/neuter advocacy to address the pet overpopulation problem.

Copperfield Bowling Event
Location:  Copperfield Bowl, 15615 Glen Chase Dr., Houston, TX 77095 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Registration: Adults – Admission to be deteremined
Bowlers choose a time slot: 12-2, 2-4, or 4-6.
Prizes for most donations/pledges per time slot and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize for highest score per time slot.

Location:  Old Town Spring

Collecting live auction items for bidding on Ebay. All to benefit HPPL. Details to come.

Barnes & Noble Gift Wrapping Sessions
Location: 
Barnes & Noble at 5303 F.M. 1960 West Houston and Barnes & Noble at the Galleria
A gift wrapping event at the Champions and Galleria location of Barnes & Noble with the proceeds to go to HPPL.  We need at least two people to do gift wrapping on all shifts. We also would require a third person on any shifts where we are able to have a four-legged helper.

Santa Photos
Location:  Willowchase & Baybrook Mall PetsMart Stores
Volunteers as Santa to take pictures with pets and pet owners. Santa suit will be provided; jolly demeanor and holiday spirit required for Santa. Assistant "elves" (including photographers) to help with check in, pose animals, and process orders.

Ten Thousand Villages
Location: 
Rice Village
Come shop and a percentage of sales benefits HPPL. Artisan crafts from all over the world. Need helpers to staff the event.
